Dr Michelle Kermode is a Senior Research Fellow who has many years experience as a public health practitioner working in research, education and technical assistance. Her main areas of work are HIV, injection safety and mental health. She has experience in designing and delivering training programs, and engaging with partners in developing countries to develop capacity in applied public health research. Michelle has worked in a number of Asian countries, especially India, and with a range of partners including NGOs and community and faith-based organisations, as well as within the private and public sectors and hospital settings.
