| Biography |
Judith Ascroft is the Chief Operating Officer at the Nossal Institute. Judith has a background in public health and international development and has worked as a senior manager in a number of organizations including AusAID, Cardno Acil and Save the Children Australia. She has significant Asia, Africa and PNG experience and has worked for extended periods in Indonesia, Cambodia, Tanzania and Zambia in clinical, technical advisory and program management roles. Her interests include maternal and child health, capacity building and the design and implementation of rights based development initiatives. Over the past twenty years her focus has been on: organizational leadership; program management; technical oversight and the monitoring and evaluation of programs; mentoring, coaching and personnel management of international teams; and community empowerment.
