The Nossal Institute coordinates a selection of International Health subjects as part of the Masters of Public Health offered by the Melbourne School of Population Health.

In addition, the Nossal Institute offers students the chance to study Primary Health Care at the Comprehensive Rural Health Project, Jamkhed, a world-renowned institute in Maharashtra, India. Since 2003 over two hundred tertiary students have learned about equity, empowerment and participation from rural village women in one of the poorest districts of India.
