Led by Dr Krishna Hort, the Health System Strengthening unit (HSS) focuses on how to make health systems operate more effectively in order to improve the delivery of health care. This is done through four main areas of work:- Knowledge Hub in Health Policy and Finance

- Managing resources and implementing policy
- Developing expertise
- Analysis and knowledge generation
