Adolescent health

Many behaviours commencing in adolescence have a life-long impact on health, particularly those that affect reproductive health, mental health and drug use. The Nossal Institute works in a range of adolescent programs, including HIV prevention in India, supporting youth friendly services in Indonesia and Vietnam, and in developing national youth health policies. The Institute hosts the annual short course in International Adolescent Health (taught in partnership with the Burnet Institute and the Centre for Adolescent Health at the Royal Children's Hospital).
